ROLLDOWN
The four-foot tailgate dice game. Built in Lexington, Kentucky.

Roll the die.
Move the chains.

Four feet of board, two dice, two markers, zero mercy. Plays across a dropped tailgate, a folding table, or the garage floor when the bugs come out.

48 in × 15¼ in playing surface 29 in to the top with legs

Twenty colorways in the builder below, or bring your own.

48 inchesSlides behind the front seat or flat in a trunk next to the cooler.
10 minutesAverage round. The board keeps rotating instead of tying up four people all afternoon.
No throwing lanePlay shoulder to shoulder with a drink in your hand. Nobody chases anything into somebody else's tent.

Half the setup of cornhole

Cornhole needs two boards, twenty-seven feet of clear lane, and somebody willing to go get the bags. This needs a tailgate and four feet.

Packing

One board, not two

Fifteen inches wide and half an inch thick. It rides flat under everything else instead of eating the whole bed.

Space

Four feet of lot

Set it on the tailgate or drop the legs and stand it on gravel. Everyone plays from the same spot.

Pace

Rounds, not innings

Your score walks a peg down the sideline, so the board always shows who is winning. Nothing to argue about four beers deep.

Build yours

Every board is cut, drilled and finished one at a time. Pick a core, pick your colors, and the ticket keeps up.

Core

What the board is made of. This is the only choice that changes how it lives outdoors.

Add-ons

Every board ships with two dice, two markers and the rules card.

How it plays

Two players or four. Your marker starts in the first peg hole on your sideline and has to run to the far end of your half and back. First one home takes it.

Set the markers

Both sides drop a marker in the first peg hole on their own sideline. Highest roll goes first.

Roll long

Roll the die down the board toward the other end. It has to break the plane of the far scoring line to count, same rule as a football crossing the goal line. Short rolls and rolls off the board score nothing.

Count the pips, move the holes

Pips equal holes, one for one. Roll a five, move your marker five holes. Partners add together, so a five and a two is seven holes.

Take the bonuses

Landing in the hole is ten more holes on top of your pips. Hanging over the lip is five. Hanging off the back edge is two. Everything converts to marker movement, so there is no separate points total to keep.

Get home first

Out to the far end of your sideline and back to where you started takes the match. If you rolled second to open the game, you get one rebuttal.

Re-rollMatching pips past the line

Every bonus is extra holes, added to the pips you already rolled.

Made here

Boards are cut six to a sheet, drilled off a single jig so every peg track lines up, edged, and finished in a garage in Lexington. Stripes are cut vinyl on the Tailgater and full-bleed print on the Pro and All-Weather.

Custom work takes about two weeks. We build tributes to your colors, your town or your last name. We do not reproduce team logos or licensed marks, so bring us the colors and let us do the rest.

Replaced our cornhole set on game days. Takes up zero room in the bed and nobody has to chase bags into other people's tents.
